Who is it for?
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community who have experienced sexual assault.
How it works
- We provide culturally safe, therapeutic sexual assault counselling.
- You can also take part in cultural healing group sessions, including access to cultural camps on Country.
- We support you to connect with other specialist services, like child development specialists, cultural advisors and family violence therapists where needed.
- Further support is available through engagement with Elders, community members and linking to Gathering Places to support connection to culture and community.
- We can help with referrals to other VACCA programs and external services if needed.
- If needed, a MARAM Risk Assessment and safety plan is developed by the practitioner to identify the level of support required.
