This submission examines the increasing racism, hate and violence directed at Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across institutional, online and public contexts. Racism is embedded in the design and operation of mainstream and statutory systems. It is amplified through online platforms, reinforced by ideologically motivated extremism, and inadequately addressed through existing reporting and accountability mechanisms.
