Make a Research Request

VACCA's Research and Evidence Development team includes evaluation and research specialists that support program design, the development and implementation of internal and external evaluations, embedding evaluative inquiry across VACCA’s programs, and research projects.

If you are interested in making a research request to VACCA, please complete our Expression of Interest (EOI) form.

Before submitting an EOI, please consider whether your request aligns with to VACCA’s strategic goals and guiding principles.

We expect external researchers to be familiar with guiding principles for ethical research with Aboriginal peoples, including:

• marra ngarrgoo, marra goorri: The Victorian Aboriginal Health, Medical and Wellbeing Research Accord
• AIATSIS Code of Ethics for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Research
• National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Ethical Conduct in Research with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and Communities
• Maiam nayri Wingara Indigenous Data Sovereignty Collective principles and communiques related to Indigenous Data Sovereignty and Governance
• CARE Principles for Indigenous Data Governance.

Please note VACCA receives many requests from external researchers and we are unable to support all external research requests.
