20/02/2020

This week our Nugel program was awarded the Advancing Aboriginal Self-Determination Award at IPAA Victoria's Leadership in the Public Sector Awards.

The Awards celebrate the excellence and innovation of teams and organisations working in, and with, the public sector in Victoria. These prestigious awards represent a pinnacle of achievement and acknowledgement for those initiatives working for the benefit of the Victorian community.

Our Nugel program supports children in out-of-home care to be safe and to stay connected – or to connect – to their culture and community. We support families to stay together wherever possible, and we work towards safe reunification for families.

Nugel is dedicated to embedding and upholding Aboriginal self-determination in the child and family welfare space, and we are very proud of this recognition of our work.
