Thank you to our Carers!

This week, we're celebrating all our Carers and the incredible work they do to support and nurture the children and young people in their care. Throughout Foster Care Week, we've organised some very special guests to say thank you and show just how much we all appreciate everything that Carers do.

A performance from The Merindas

The Merindas are Candice Lorrae of Jawoyn and Thursday Islander heritage (born Darwin NT) and Nyoongar Ballardong Whadjuk woman Kristel Kickett (from Tammin WA). Now based in Melbourne, these soul sisters have spent 7 years trail-blazing with their innovative style of Indigenous music.

It's impossible to resist their infectious energy, and we think they're the perfect duo to share a Friday afternoon with!

We hope you've enjoyed all the messages of appreciation for our Carers and the performances from our special guests this week! If you've missed any, you can view the videos here:
