Thank you to all our carers

This Foster Care Week, VACCA is proud to say thank you to all of our wonderful carers.

Throughout these challenging times you have continued to provide comfort and security to some of the most vulnerable children. Your invaluable contribution has the helped children and young people in your care to grow up safe and strong and your strength and adaptability has continued to inspire– from all of us at VACCA, thank you for all you do.

Connected to culture

As the largest Aboriginal child and family services organisation in the state, VACCA supports carers to provide culturally safe homes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people who cannot live with their birth families.

By providing a positive and nurturing family life, our carers support the cultural, social, and emotional development of children and young people in care, helping them remain connected to their culture, their community, and their Aboriginal identity.
