Art Mentoring

Our Art Mentoring program helps Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth with an interest, talent or passion in visual arts to work with artist mentors to develop their practice and techniques, create works and learn about art.

Who is it for?

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people aged 12 to 18 years.

How it works

• We create a friendly, welcoming environment for young people to learn and develop in their artistic practice. 
• Workshops with other Aboriginal artists are held so different styles and approaches of expression can be taught.
• Young people have the opportunity to create their own work and have it displayed at an exhibition.
