Who is it for?

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and men aged 18 years and over.
  • Currently or at risk of being in contact with the justice system.
  • Living in the northern Melbourne metropolitan area.

How it works

  • The Koorie Diversion program provides intensive, culturally appropriate case management,  including case planning and review, for up to 12 months.
  • We can support, or provide referrals to services, in the areas of:
    • community and cultural connection
    • navigating the justice system
    • housing
    • health
    • training and employment
    • family violence
    • financial
    • legal.
  • We seek to minimise entering or re-entering the criminal justice system.
