Our Aboriginal Sexual Assault Healing program helps all mob who have experienced sexual abuse and are looking for a culturally grounded approach that supports their healing.

Who is this program for?

• Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community who have experienced sexual assault or abuse (including other family members as well) 
• Live near VACCA’s Southern or Western Offices (see contact details below). 

Get started

• Entry into the program is done by self-referral (email us, see below) or referral through another organisation. If you are already working with VACCA, then your case worker can also do a referral on your behalf.
• There’s flexibility in our approach; we can do one-on-one or group family sessions. We always create a culturally safe space to carry out our therapeutic counselling sessions.
• Working together, we can link you in with local Elders, community organisations and other VACCA programs to support any other need you may have. 
• Our approach is to heal your traumas and build your confidence to live the life you want.
