Better Futures helps Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people in care services transition into independent living.

Foster Care
Our Foster Care program supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people in statutory (court-ordered) care arrangements to find a new home with a foster carer.

Gamadji Balit - Residential Care
Our Gamadji Balit program provides culturally safe residential care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people who cannot live at home.

Kinship Care
Our Kinship Care program supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people, as well as their carers in statutory (court-ordered) care arrangements.

Kinship First Supports
Our First Supports program provides immediate support to young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people entering a new care arrangement to ensure a smooth transition into their new home.

Kinship Finding
Our Kinship Finding program helps young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in statutory care arrangements locate their kinship networks and establish connections within their mob to create stable, culturally safe homes to live and grow in.

Permanent Care
Our Permanent Care program provides assessment of non-Aboriginal carers prior to a Permanent Care Order being granted.

Our Targeted Care Package program supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people remain living in placements that best meets their needs.
