About this journal article:
This journal article presents findings from a systemic scoping review of services and programs using Cultural Therapeutic Ways, a healing and wellbeing framework developed by VACCA that centres culturally based practices, trauma awareness and self-determination. Drawing on studies from Australia, Canada, Aotearoa/New Zealand and the United States, the review gives an overview of the published evidence base, highlights how these approaches support healing and wellbeing, and identified gaps to guide future research.
