About this journal article:

This journal article describes the development of an Aboriginal Resilience and Recovery Questionnaire to support more culturally relevant assessment of healing and recovery from trauma. Drawing on focus groups with counselling staff and interviews with Aboriginal clients from an Aboriginal health service, the study developed and tested a strengths-based measure for Aboriginal resilience grounded in Aboriginal understandings of healing and recovery.
