About this evaluation:

VACCA’s Return to Country program supports Aboriginal children and young people in out-of-home care to visit their home Country, connect with family and Elders, learn about history and culture, and build pride in who they are and where they come from. This evaluation looked at nine Return to Country trips delivered between 2018 and 2022. It explored what was working well, what difference the trips were making for young people, and how the program could be strengthened.
