About this journal article

Culture has enabled the resilience and survival of Indigenous peoples for over two centuries of colonial imposition. This article highlights the importance of culture for Koorie kids and families. At VACCA, our programs and practices are designed to embed culture and build resilience. By embedding culture, our service provision for Indigenous children and young people is likely to move towards encouraging resilience against all forms of abuse and neglect.
