This webinar recording from OPEN Symposium 2025 explores how Aboriginal communities, practitioners, and researchers are reshaping the way evidence is defined and used, centring Aboriginal voices and ways of knowing, being and doing. The session includes presentations on VACCA’s Aboriginal model of residential care Gamadji Balit, Bendigo and District Aboriginal Cooperative (BDAC)’s Garinga Bupup program, and the Victorian Aboriginal Children and Young People’s Alliance (VACYPA) kinship care model.
