Our Koorie Tiddas Choir program is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls aged 8 to 15 years who want to learn and practice songwriting and performing cultural songs.

Who is it for?

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls aged 8 to 15 years. 
  • All levels of skill and experience. 

How does it work?

  • Sessions run once a week in the afternoons during school terms.  
  • Transport can be arranged and a snack will also be provided. 
  • The program is run by Aboriginal women who have a strong background in music.
  • We teach songwriting, cultural songs and how to perform on stage to a live audience.
