Join VACCA, Link-Up, Connecting Home and The Healing Foundation from 24 to 25 September for a two day Stolen Generations Statewide Gathering - creating a safe space for Stolen Generations and their descendants to come together, speak up, and speak out.

This Gathering will focus on current issues and challenges impacting Stolen Generations today, featuring informative panel discussions, interactive Q&A sessions, facilitated breakout groups, and hands-on workshops. The program also includes dedicated time for Cultural Ceremony through welcome to Country and smoking, didgeridoo playing, dance, storytelling, music and art.

A designated social, emotional and wellbeing room will be available throughout the event, offering guided activities and access to support from a psychologist, if needed.

Event proceedings will be followed by a Red-Ochre-Carpet Dinner, ending the event with a Ngarrga (dance in Boon Wurrung and Woi Wurrung language) disco and entertainment from 6:30pm to 10:30pm.

An expression of interest (EOI) is essential if you would like to attend, this is to ensure diverse and widespread representation from communities and participants across all regions of Victoria, as spaces are limited. If you are interested in attending, please submit your EOI below.
