At VACCA, our most innovative programs and services rely on the generous financial and volunteer support of the community, including individual philanthropists, trusts, foundations corporations and businesses. Our core services are largely funded by government.

There are many ways you can help make a positive difference to the lives of the Aboriginal children, young people and families we work with.

Become a Foster Carer

You can make a positive difference in a child’s life by providing them with a safe, nurturing and culturally sensitive environment. Foster carers come from all walks of life and can be anyone over the age of 21, from a diverse range of cultures with a diverse range of life experiences. We provide extensive training, 24-hour caseworker support, a fortnightly allowance to cover day-to-day expenses and access to organised activities for the children and young people.

Volunteer at VACCA

VACCA relies on the generosity of people just like you to help with activities, cultural projects and community events.

Workplace Giving

You can make a regular pre-tax donation through your payroll and help make a difference to the lives of Victorian Aboriginal children and families.

Corporations and businesses can also help through:

  • Skilled volunteering
  • Partnerships / Sponsorship
  • Gifts in Kind
  • Pro Bono Services
