We would like to extend a warm and heartfelt THANK YOU to Gandel Philanthropy.

VACCA was recently awarded a Major Grant from Gandel which will go towards VACCAs Return to Country program.

The Return to Country program is an integral part of connecting young people in out of home care to their home country. It facilitates their meeting of Elders, visits to sacred sites, a sharing of knowledge, including learnings about songs, stories, art, tracks, places, landforms, plants, animals and natural resources.

This grant will ensure we can continue to work towards the healing of the Aboriginal community through strengthening cultural connectedness, creating culturally strong, empowered and safe children, young people, families and communities.
