Homework Club

This program provides a culturally safe space for Aboriginal children to do their homework with a community Elder and VACCA staff.

What we offer

As well as homework support, this program offers: 

• Reading to younger children by older children
• Trips to the local library to borrow books
• Cultural activities with the Elder, who is a trained art teacher.

The program strengthens the children’s connection to community and culture.
