VACCA provided a submission to the Inquiry into the rental and housing affordability crisis in Victoria, which will investigate the challenges facing Victorian renters and factors causing the crisis, including the low availability and high costs of rental properties, insecurity, affordability issues and the adequacy of regulation. VACCA’s submission takes a right-based approach centred in Aboriginal self-determination and makes recommendations for reforms and investment to respond to the housing crisis.
