A panel of five esteemed Traditional Owners discuss how we can better Care for Country through a consideration of the current legislations protecting Aboriginal Cultural Heritage.

The event was held in June 2020, MC'd by Victorian Aboriginal Heritage Council Member, Racquel Kerr a Dja Dja Wurrung woman. The esteemed panellists:

  • Jamie Lowe (CEO National Native Title Council)
  • Rodney Carter (CEO Dja Dja Wurrung Clans Aboriginal Corporation)
  • Rachel Perkins (prominent Indigenous filmmaker)
  • Hans Bokelund (Director Aboriginal Melbourne)

This event is accompanied by a Discussion Paper on legislate reform regarding protecting Aboriginal Cultural Heritage.
